Order of Respect

So Ben has been having trouble recently with the hierarchy of people in his life.  It's partly mild autism, and partly just being the oldest kid and hanging around a lot of adults.  

Anyways, Stephen is pretty good at understanding how Ben's brain works, so he talked to him about the levels of how much respect you have to show people.  They worked on and put up the original list on the chalkboard.  

1 - GOD

2 - Adults

3 - Friends

4 - Lucy/Pets

Then, of course, Ben heard us talking about President Obama and some of the recent attacks on him.  I was saying how everyone needs to show respect for him and his office even if they don't agree with his policies (something I wish everyone would always do -  Clinton, Bush, and also Mr. Obama all deserve our respect and thanks for doing their very best at a very difficult job.  We can and should disagree with them but still treat them with respect - okay, off my soapbox).  

So, Ben, in the way he has of boiling things down to a list, added the following to the original:
