Knitting

So here are some knits I've been making recently - I wanted to share, mostly because I think they're pretty cool. :-)

The first is a Fraggle Hat - I took a picture of it on a stuffed animal, and then one on the floor. It's based on the fraggle Red, from Fraggle Rock. Fun!

This is the Tooth Robot - His front panel was originally going to be a tooth pocket but after it was done I realized that it was too big, so instead I made a little tooth pouch to go inside. 

Ryan has claimed the tooth robot.  "MY robot! " he says.  :-)   The bigger boys will be using it for the tooth fairy - they are very happy about that because they've been using my old tooth pillow, which is VERY girly.  (Holly Hobby-ish, complete with ruffles. Ben is embarrassed to use it. :-)  )  

Anyways, that's what I've been up to with my hands.  I'm working on more stuff, and I'm thinking that I'm going to start posting those here, just for fun.  I'll post more about the kids later today - 

Haircuts for All!

So all the boys got their hair cut last week - fun stuff! It was Ryan's FIRST professional haircut, so I thought I'd share pictures of the process...

All that beautiful blond hair, gone! He's still blond, but now he looks like such a big boy. I'm having second thoughts about cutting off all his pretty hair. This happened with Nathan and Ben too, though, so I know I'll get over it... I think...

Anyways, Nathan and Ben also got shorn - here's Nathan:

This was the first haircut where Ben came in with a picture and told Mr. Ron that he wanted a style. So Mr. Ron cut it really short and Ben is using mousse to make it stand up. Mousse! My son is using Mousse! He's becoming such a big boy... I don't know whether to be proud or a bit sad...
