Cub Scout Camp-In

We had a crazy full long weekend of family fun. It all started with a Camp-In for Ben, Nathan and Stephen with the Cub Scouts at their Cub Scout Hut. Ryan and I stayed home, mostly because it was a Scout event, but also because it was raining. :-)

The evening started with some fun games

Then came the requisite camp fire

We furnished S'mores for all

Some inside talks

And then the highlight of the evening, when someone brought out an old projector and some "documentaries" that turned out to be old science films from the 1960's. Stephen said they were hilarious.

"Timmy, this is a plant"

"Golly, how do I peel this banana? Science is interesting!"

And the night ended with the boys all in our tent. Thankfully we have an awesome North Face tent that is totally rain-proof. No water got in, and everyone slept well.

A fun night, according to all. Me, I was happy in my warm house, under my comfy down comforter, snuggling up to my monkey. :-)
